India Solo Trip, June 2022: Baija Taal

Baija Taal Cultural Complex is situated in the center of Gwalior city and is quite a tourist attraction. It was built by the Scindia family. The original oval-shaped tank with surrounding stone steps was meant for ceremonial and festive use. Currently, it is used as a cultural complex and is home to an art gallery and open-air theatre.

I had the privilege to visit this magnificent building at night time which provided a perfect background for a wonderful colourful display. Here are a few photographs.
