Shipping Policy - Aksa Home Decor | Fair Trade Shop Australia

SHIPPING LOCATIONS

We ship Australia-wide (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, NT, WA, TAS, ACT) and to New Zealand.

We also ship to the USA, Canada, the UK, and Singapore.

 

ORDER PROCESSING & SHIPPING

All items are shipped with tracking, and you will receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships. If you create a profile with us, you will be able to log into your profile to view your order information and tracking once available at any time. Any orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed and dispatched during business hours (Monday-Friday).

In most cases, your order would be processed the same day (when ordered prior to 12 pm Sydney time on Mon-Fri)  and would be shipped thereafter. Please note that once your order has been processed, we are unable to edit the order including changing the shipping address. 

Please note: Orders placed on weekdays after 12 pm, weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the following business day.

To reduce unnecessary waste, we use recycled packaging whenever possible to send out your items. Some of this recycled packaging is sourced from local businesses including Woolworths.

 

DELIVERY VIA SHIPPING PARTNERS

Unless otherwise specified on the product page, items will normally ship the same day of receipt of your order (when the order is received prior to 12 pm). Please allow an extra working day for orders placed on weekends or holidays. Note that gift cards are sent via email.

If you live in Australia since your item has been shipped from Australia, your order should generally arrive between 5-7 business days, sometimes sooner. You can find details about delivery times on the Australia Post courier service website.

We currently offer shipping to the following countries only (subject to changes at our discretion)

Any free shipping when offered is applicable to shipping handled by shipping partners only and is not applicable to the local delivery option.

LOCAL DELIVERY (AU only)

Local Delivery is currently offered in selected areas of Sydney Hills District which covers certain areas of suburbs like Baulkham Hills, Castle Hills, Winston Hills, Quakers Hill, Glenwood, Greystances, Kellyville, etc. 

The local delivery option appears with Shop Pay (e.g. when a customer pays using his debit card), but not with other accelerated checkouts like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal etc. due to the restrictions placed by the website host/provider. When applicable, this option will automatically appear on the Checkout page along with the delivery fee. 

Any free shipping when offered is applicable to shipping handled by shipping partners only and is not applicable to the local delivery option.

 

DAMAGES TO ORDER

Aksa Home Decor is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

 

LOST PARCEL

Aksa Home Decor offers tracking for all orders, however, Aksa Home Decor does not accept responsibility for goods lost in transit or goods that have been delivered with valid proof of delivery. If your parcel goes missing, you will be required to lodge a formal complaint as the owner of the parcel with Australia Post. 

 

WHY IS MY ORDER BEING SHIPPED IN DIFFERENT PACKAGES? 
If you have a multi-item order, each item may be shipped from our Australia warehouse, depending on which one has them available the fastest. Alternatively, if an item is popular and on a bit of a backorder, we might ship your items at different times, in different packages, to prevent holding up your order and to get it to you as fast as possible!

POSSIBLE DELAYS 

We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, please bear in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On a rare occasion, your order can arrive outside of the estimated timeframe.

If your order has been sent via our shipping partner, then you can track your order via our shipping confirmation email.
