Elephant Symbolism: What it means?

The majestic Elephant is symbolic of good fortune, wisdom and nobility. The ever-regal elephant has been revered around the world as a sacred animal, imbued with powerful spiritual symbolism, protection, and fertility.

The Elephant Symbolism in India

In India, Elephant symbolises wisdom, power, strength, patience, dignity and blessing. The Elephant God, Ganesha is supposed to bring auspicious energy and remove obstacles. He was blessed by his father, Lord Shiva to be revered before any other god, when starting a new venture like a new business, a new office space or any other auspicious occasion. Ganesha is the only God that various Hindu sects worship regardless of their affiliations with other gods.
